Port Salerno Community Promotions, Inc.  was established in December, 2006 as a non-profit 501(c)4 organization to promote the annual Port Salerno Christmas Jamboree, and other events in the community.

Activities include the annual Christmas Jamboree,  the Port Salerno Seafood Festival, and Independence Day Fireworks Celebration.  The committee also funded Easter Baskets for the Port Salerno Head Start Program.

At the first annual Port Salerno Christmas Jamboree in 2006, we lit a 50’ Christmas tree, had snow mountains for the kids to play in, a sound stage with carolers and entertainment, served hot dogs and soda, and featured Mr. & Mrs. Claus arriving via firetruck.  Santa’s elves gave away over 450 Christmas gift bags, 54 bicycles, and 18 raffle items.  The event ended with a spectacular Toyota of Stuart sponsored Fireworks display. 

At the 1^st annual Port Salerno Seafood Festival, there were over 130 booths, including 18 different seafood booths, numerous arts and crafts booths, a great variety of community exhibitor booths, a large children's play section and, of course, delicious seafood galore.

Our 2^nd annual Independence Day Fireworks celebration  had the theme “Salute to our Troops”,  and featured a HUGE fireworks & laser lightshow sponsored again by Toyota of Stuart.  We and our sponsors hosted a terrific block party at the commercial docks on SE Park St. Lucie’s Creative Crafters & Vendors participated,  and we had entertainment, food, beer, ice cream, and more.
